1979年東京生まれ。2002年東京音楽大学作曲科卒業、2004年情報科学芸術大学院大学卒業。これまでに作曲を小池陽、西岡龍彦、成田和子、土屋雄、三輪眞弘に師事。東京音楽大学卒業を前後して、電子音楽やアルゴリズミックコンポジションなど、現代のテクノロジーと深く関係を持つ音楽に対して興味をもち、作品において様々な試みを実践している。作品は常に音楽、アートという枠組みに対する問題意識を持ち、批判的視点で制作されている。それらの作品は国内、国外でも発表されており、代表的なものは、毎年オーストリアのリンツで行われる国際的なデジタル・アートフェスティバルであるアルス・エレクトロニカで発表された「祝典行進曲」（吹奏楽）、8chのスピーカーの為の「ののじで」などがある。 2006年10月からは、方法マシン(http://method-machine.com/)の代表を勤めている。
Taro YASUNO(1979) was born in Tokyo ,Japan. He studied composition under Kazuko Narita at Tokyo college of music. Since 2002 he has studied under Masahiro MIWA at the Advanced media arts and scienses(IAMAS). He keeps being interested in the relation between the technology and music, and he is practicing it in the creation. His works have been peformed in Japan, Europe. His typical works are "Celebration March" and "NONOJIDE". "Celebration March" is for brassband. the instrument played by bit operated fingering. it performanced in Ars Electronica. "NONOJIDE" is for 8ch speaker argorhythm music. it performanced in CCMC contemporary computer music concert. (Acousmatic music concert in Japan.)
